1). RANSOMWARE: The Scourge that is Ransomware is still with us and still ensnaring a “wide range ” of businesses and critical infrastructure across Europe, North America and Australia with the Akira Ransomware gang reported to have made over €40 million from 250 attacks since March 2023 according to a joint announcement by Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) the Netherlands’ National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-NL) the FBI & CISA

2). TOP 5 SME CYBERSECURITY PROTOCOLS – With SMEs on the Cybercriminals’ radar, it has become more important than ever to fortify our data & systems and strengthen our overall Cyber defences. The CYBERInsights team have produced a definitive Top 5 for 2024 – MUST DO Protocols that EVERY SME should Deploy NOW! From moving toward a Zero-trust model, identifying & securing your “Primary” device through to completely separating Business from Leisure.

3). WHAT IS MFA (2FA) Cyber KPI’s: What is Multi Factor Authentication and why should SMEs use it? Multi-factor authentication (MFA; two-factor authentication, or 2FA) is a multi-step account login process that requires users to enter more information than just a password. For example, along with the password, users might be asked to enter a code sent to their email, answer a secret question, or scan a fingerprint. MFA protects personal data—which may include personal identification or financial assets.
