1). PHISHING: Phishing is most common Cyber Incident faced by SMEs –SMEs are considered to be the backbone of Europe’s economy with 25m+ active entities employing 100m+ workers. ENISA The EU Agency for Cybersecurity has published: Cybersecurity for SMEs detailing practical advice for SMEs to successfully cope with Cybersecurity challenges

About ENISA – The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, ENISA, is the Union’s agency dedicated to achieving a high common level of Cybersecurity across Europe.

2). EUROPE: Introducing the Digital Markets Act – Openness, Fairness & Competition. The Digital Markets Act (DMA) establishes a set of clearly defined objective criteria to identify “gatekeepers”. Gatekeepers are large digital platforms providing “core platform services” such as online search engines, app stores, messenger services.

The DMA is one of the first regulatory tools to comprehensively regulate the gatekeeper power of the largest digital companies complementing EU competition rules, which continue to apply.

3). EU ELECTIONS: ECSO – New Policy Brief: Navigating Cybersecurity Policy in the EU – a brief to policy advisors covering cybersecurity and digital policies.
