1). SECURE BROWSING: GOOGLE ANNOUNCES “V8 SANDBOX” IN EFFORT TO MINIMISE MEMORY CORRUPTION – Google has begun support for what’s called a V8 Sandbox in the Chrome web browser in an effort to address memory corruption issues. The search supremoes have described the “V8 Sandbox” as an in-process Sandbox designed specifically to mitigate common V8 Vulnerabilities from spreading within the host process.

2). WEBINAR: ALL ACCESS: LOW CODE 2024 – Cybersecurity Hub
By 2025, 70% of new enterprise applications are expected to be built using low-code or no-code technologies, driving the global low-code development platform market to a projected value in excess of €45 billion. Low-code addresses the previous barrier of a lack of sufficient individuals with coding knowledge scaling low-code success, and ensuring data security.

3). BIG TECH: EU Targets Big Tech in Digital Markets Act Investigation – The European Commission has launched a non-compliance investigation under the Digital Markets Act on a group of so called “Big Tech” firms including Google Play and Apples App Store. The Commission suspects that the measures put in place by these gatekeepers fall short of effective compliance of their obligations under the Digital Markets Act.
