1). EMAIL SECURITY: Is Your SMEs Email Security Up-to-Snuff? According to a recent UK government report, 32% of SMEs experienced a breach or Cyber attack in the last 12 months, and one of the most common techniques criminals use is to send phishing emails – fake emails that impersonate your organisation.

The NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) have a free tool to check your email security and prevent cyber criminals using your email to conduct Cyber attacks.

3). BIG TECH: EU Targets Big Tech in Digital Markets Act Investigation – The European Commission  has launched a non-compliance investigation under the Digital Markets Act on a group of so called “Big Tech” firms including Google Play & Apples App Store. The Commission suspects that the measures put in place by these gatekeepers fall short of effective compliance of their obligations under the DMA.

What is the Digital Markets Act ?(DMA) The DMA aims to ensure contestable & fair markets in the digital sector. It regulates large digital platforms that provide a gateway between business & consumers.
