1). CYBER BREACHES: 1 Billion Records Stolen in 2024: How Cutting-Edge Tech Is Fighting Back Against Cybercrime. The findings align with the World Economic Forum’s Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2024 and underscores the growing prevalence of cyber attacks globally. The latest Report highlights the increasing frequency and complexity of cyber attacks, their effect on brand trust, and the double-edged sword of disruptive technologies. Two-thirds of organizations globally (67%) and in the UK (70%) have experienced an increase in cyber incidents over the past 12 months compared to the previous year. The report concluded that the rise in cyberattacks is putting business reputations and brand trust at greater risk.
