1). CYBER DECEPTION: UK Takes Lead in Global Cybersecurity Debate – The United Kingdom has stepped into the fray to address a growing controversy over the establishment of an international standard for “cyber deception.” This contentious topic has sparked global debate, prompting the UK government to take on the challenge of finding a resolution that could set a precedent worldwide. The primary aim of the summit is to better understand the strategies used by threat actors.

Lindy Cameron, CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), has emphasized that small businesses are a vital component of the UK economy, yet they remain appealing targets for Cybercriminals. In a recent report, law enforcement authorities have pointed to a worrying increase in Cyberattacks aimed at SMEs with the most common threats including email compromise, ransomware & phone hacking
