1). THREAT INTEL: SMART PHONES & DEVICES – Your Smart Device is the weakest link in your Cybersecurity defences. (Read: Separate your devices between work and home) Think About it – We have the most critical data on our Smartphone, Personal Data, Banking & Passwords! Lose your SmartDevice and you have big problems. Weave into that Risk profile the SIM Card or Subscriber Identity Module, Swap Scam and you are in a whole new world of hurt!  The SIM Swap puts the Hacker in charge and you wont even know this malfeasance is going on.

2). ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: META – EU Puts Brakes on Meta´s Llama AI. EU Legislators have put the brakes on Meta´s LlamaAI – so much so that the Facebook parent has delayed the launch. The contretemps has evolved over Meta´s ambitions to “train” its AI on data from FB & Instagram posts however this hasn’t been well received by Privacy legislators – Specifically Irish data protection regulators. Meta took to their media machine to criticize the move saying that the move was a “Step backwards for European Innovation”
