THREAT INTEL: Jisc provide technology, expertise, and cyber security to around 10 millions children.

Cybersecurity Jisc style…

Jisc provide technology, expertise, and Cybersecurity to the vast majority of UK Schools and around 10 million children.

Last year 347 schools confirmed Cyberattacks which Jisc no doubt provide technology too and subsequent Cybersecurity expertise.

Manchester University, one of the 347 ‘victims’ praised the expertise of Jisc for their efforts and expertise following the Cyber incident. Manchester University shortly thereafter suffered a second Cyber incident…

Cybercrime costs and losses upon our Education Sector are headed toward a £billion per year and Jisc have the contracts not only for this, but also the recent UK Governments Share & Defend program.

Interestingly, when we informed Jisc of their wholly inadequate and exposed Internet Assets, including the ironically Not Secure homepage/Cybersecurity – Protecting UK Education and Research page below, instead of being grateful, Jisc threatened legal action.

The Real-Time screen shot below confirms Jisc remain exposed, as does every school and Jisc client, and around 10 million children. This is not merely reckless, this is criminal.

It is demonstrably evident that Jisc are making, and continue making basic, fundamental security errors which are being ignored and covered up. Jisc are failing to even address these errors after being informed.

To confirm, the single point of failure for the 347 schools that were victims of cybercrime last year is Jisc exposed Internet Assets and Servers…

Share and Defend – more like Emperor and Clothes…
