ESMA: The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) – The EUs financial markets regulator and supervisor, today issued a Statement providing initial guidance to firms using AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies  when they provide investment services to retail clients. When using AI, ESMA expects firms to comply with relevant MiFID II requirements, particularly when it comes to organisational aspects, conduct of business, and their regulatory obligation to act in the best interest of the client.

2). TORRENT DOWNLOADS: MALWARE – Beyond here be dragons! Starting up or early days for your SME, testing your business model, securing your systems and data – All costly exercises and in the early days money is tight so there is a temptation to download Pirated software from the myriad of Torrent platforms – DONT! Why? because number 1 it is ILLEGAL! But put that aside – this sword is double edged because deploying Pirated software and programs opens a back door for Cybercriminals to infiltrate your systems with ease.

3). WHAT IS GDPR? – Unlocking GDPR: To assist our readers navigate the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation ) Minefield we have complied  –  GDPR for SMEs – A Comprehensive Guide to Data Protection Regulations. GDPR is a data privacy regulation from Europe that grants rights to individuals in the EU/EEA over how their personal information gets processed, irrespective of whether the processing occurs online or offline, with a specific focus on SMEs and Small Businesses.
