1). DATA BREACH: Hackers breach UK MoD payroll data- State Actors Suspected. Hackers have breached a highly confidential UK Ministry of Defence data base managed by a third-party Government contractor which is believed to contain the Names, Addresses and Bank Details of both operational (current) and retired personnel. Sources close to the British government say that they have proof that China had sponsored the attack despite Chinas “part line” rebuttals.

2). REPORT: 60% of SMEs say they are as concerned about Cybersecurity threats according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce‘s first-quarter small-business index has revealed that 60% of SMEs say they are concerned about cybersecurity threats, and 58% are concerned about a supply chain breakdown at the same time mitigating the effects of another Pandemic. I urge you to read this post as its the same for EU SMEs

3). KPI: What is a Zero-Day Attack? The term “zero-day” refers to the fact that the vendor or developer has only just learned of the flaw – which means they have “zero days” to fix it. A zero-day attack takes place when hackers exploit the flaw before developers have a chance to address it. Zero-day attacks are clandestine cyberattacks that target vulnerabilities in software, hardware, or firmware that are unknown to the developers and, therefore, have no patches or fixes available.
